2nd International competition for Harpsichordists and Composers

The Foundation Annelie de Man organises, in cooperation with the Orgelpark in Amsterdam Netherlands, a competition to promote and support contemporary harpsichord repertoire.
The competition will be held in two disciplines: composition and harpsichord.

The winner will receive a prize of € 2.500

Competition for Composers
Application deadline: 15th February 2015
There is no age limit and no entrance fee. In the composition the harpsichord should have the principal role. The duration should not exceed 10 minutes. Existing written compositions after 2010 may be entered.

The Jury: Brice Pauset – composer/harpsichordist, Guus Janssen – composer/improviser, Francesco Filidei – composer, Goska Isphording – harpsichordist
The jury will choose 3 works to be performed in Amsterdam, from which the winning composition will be selected.

We encourage the combination of harpsichord with the instruments available in the Orgelpark, please see: www.orgelpark.nl The Annelie de Man Foundation can guarantee live performance with an ensemble not exceeding more than 5 instruments.
