AMA Vocal Trio Call for Scores

April 17, 2015 in All Opportunities, Composers by newmusicscotland

As a group, we are passionate about discovering and performing little known repertoire, whether old or new. As such, we are open to receiving scores from living composers written for one, two or three voices. The pieces should be written and presented according to the criteria below. There are no restrictions with regard to age, nationality, etc..

Although we are unable to commit to performing all compositions received, we will give all scores consideration. Compositions that fit well with our work and that we all enjoy singing may be added to our repertoire and performed in the future.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a monetary reward or payment for scores received or performance rights at this time. We will not be able to enter into extensive correspondence about scores received and the decision about music to be added to our repertoire is our own and final.

Criteria

Scores should be written for mezzo soprano (A3-G5 / a – g”), alto (G3-D5 / g – d”) and baritone (A2-F4 / A – f’) in any combination but bearing in mind a maximum of one voice per part.

Scores should be typeset clearly and sent electronically to the email address indicated on our contact page http://http://amatrio.com/index.php?id=contact . We are able to accept scores in PDF or Sibelius format. The following details should be included in the email:
