BSO Composers’ Day 2017 with Mark-Anthony Turnage

An invitation welcoming all composers to join Mark-Anthony Turnage and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra for a day of composition workshops, discussions and networking at Lighthouse, Poole. Following a nationwide call for scores, the BSO and Kokoro (BSO’s new music ensemble) will perform the chosen works, with discussions being led by Turnage.

Talk to BSO musicians about writing for their instrument, listen to speakers Sally Groves ex-creative director of Schott Music, Dan Goren founding director of Composers Edition and Harriet Wybor Classical Account Manger for PRS for Music discuss ’Publishing New Music Today.’ Find out more about applying for grants and funding with BSO Development and have all your notation software questions answered by a BSO Librarian.
