Composers’ Day, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra

October 11, 2014 in All Opportunities, Composers by newmusicscotland

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra invites composers to submit scores, a selection of which will be performed by the full BSO and Kokoro (BSO contemporary music group) in workshops led by Colin Matthews at the BSO’s Composers’ Day on Saturday 28 February 2015.

Following the success of the first Composers’ Day in 2013 with James MacMillan, the BSO is delighted to welcome Colin Matthews as the lead composer for the 2015 event, along with BSO guest conductors and composers. The BSO has a long history of championing new music and is opening the doors of the Lighthouse in Poole once again for a full day of workshops.
