Concours de Composition Acousmatique petites formes 2016

Call for acousmatic music work for the contest: Concours de Composition Acousmatique petites formes 2016.
This musical composition competition for works on acousmatic music type platforms is open to young composers of French, Taiwanese and Japanese nationality, born after 31 December 1981. The acousmatic work must have a minimum duration of 7 minutes, but must not be longer than 10 minutes.

The aim of the competition is to encourage young composers from these three countries to create acousmatic music work. The winning works will be programmed on several concerts (Paris, Reims, Marseille, Taipei, Nagoya etc.) during the 2015-2016 season.

A shortlisting of 12 petites formes acousmatic pieces will be made in January-February 2016 by an international panel of judges, and the results will be announced by 10th March 2016.

A public concert will take place on 1st April 2016 at the concert hall Les Voûtes, 19 rue des Frigos, Paris 75013, during which the 6 finalists of this competition will be honoured, and a Audience Prize will be awarded.
