Daisy Chetwin – Artist 2018
Daisy Chetwin is a sculptor who graduated from the Sculpture and Environmental Art department at The Glasgow School of Art in 2017 and now lives in Berlin. Since graduating, she has continued an active studio presence, being selected to attend the Hospitalfield graduate residency in Arbroath, and was subsequently commissioned to make two new works for a sculpture show there in April 2018. As an extension to her art practice she also has a hand made jewellery business called Cut Out, using silver and brass to create finely finished objects. Past projects include The weight of your hold, Easterhouse Swimming Pool project with Platform, Glasgow, 2017; In through your mouth, Mackintosh Church, Glasgow, 2016; and In particular some places, The Old Hairdressers, Glasgow, 2017.
