This evening’s Curious performance by the Bozzini Quartet is the culmination of a week long residency – Composer’s Kitchen – at Woodend Barn.

Four up and coming composers, two from Britain and two from Canada, were selected to take part in this unique mix of workshop, laboratory, playground and masterclass, revolving around the string quartet. Their work has been observed by the Bozzini Quartet and two mentor composers, Christopher Butterfield and Chris Fox, and their compositions read, played, assessed, analysed, worked on and played again before finally being performed in concert at Woodend Barn this evening.

Tonight’s concert will be a world premiere of all four compositions.

Please be sure to book in advance for this performance and the light supper from Buchanan Food which will be served at 7pm, followed by the performance and a Q & A session.

Performance time: 60 minutes.

Tickets: £15, £12
