Scottish soprano Emily Mitchell and Maltese pianist Geoffrey Tanti met while studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and their partnership has blossomed from a great friendship. For this morning concert, the duo will perform John McLeod’s ‘Songs from Above and Below’, a new composition inspired by the stories and recollections of local mining communities gathered by Live Music Now musicians. Part of Live Music Now Scotland’s morning concert series, Emerging Artists.
Prices: £3 entry. Concerts are free for students and school groups. Parents with babies and toddlers are welcome, children can attend free of charge.
