Event Details

The Cumnock Tryst Festival Chorus with the Novantae Singers (a young choir directed by Festival Chorusmaster Andrew McTaggart) will perform a mixture of Handel’s timeless and beautiful choral music, interspersed with musical birthday treats specially composed to celebrate James MacMillan’s 60th birthday. Alongside, David Gerrard will perform some magnificent organ works by Huxley and Bull and the wonderful Eamonn Dougan is back at the Tryst to lead our choral singers in the final concert of the sixth Festival. The inspiring William Burges building of St John the Evangelist Catholic Church is the setting for this special concert to bring our festivities to an end for 2019.
