What will you hear?

……a concert representing the finest music from the rich heritage of Scottish Celtic plainchant, whilst introducing new vibrant music by Scottish based composers.

This concert is a cycle of  Scottish music compositions all recently composed, punctuated and inspired by some of the ‘Inchcolm Antiphoner’, the plainchant written over 1000 years ago by the monks of Inchcolm, an island in the river Forth.

Commissioned and performed by the ‘Inchcolm New Music Ensemble’, the new
music group of Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.

Iona Abbey – ‘the performance is included in price of admission to the Abbey’ £7.10 for adults, £5.70 for seniors and £4.30 for children
