The Little Prince – presented by Wayfarers: stage direction Rohan Vicars, Gawain Davey and Judith Clingan; musical direction and design Judith Clingan AM

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s wisdom-packed novella has been translated and adapted as music theatre by Australian composer Judith Clingan especially for this permiere at the Fringe festival.  The music is scored for strings, recorders, pitched and unpitched percussion and voices, both solo and choral.  The 25 performers, Wayfarers, mostly from Waldorf or Steiner school communities in Australia,Taiwan and Italy, range in age from 8 to adult, and move between moments of choral singing, physical theatre and dramatic costumed dialogue. Puppets are used for the Fox, the Snake and the Rose. The story can be appreciated by all ages. A CD of the songs will be available for purchase at performances.

Tickets £10/£8/£5
