Ahead of the Scottish premiere of James MacMillan’s Little Mass, we invite composers to join James for a lecture and workshop as he explains the process of writing for the RSNO Junior Chorus, using the new piece as a case study before it is performed later that night.

At the end of this lecture, attending composers will be invited to write or adapt their own music using young voices which will then be analysed under the expert eye of James at a workshop on Saturday 9 April.

Tickets £6 lecture only. £10 lecture and workshop on 9 April.

More information, and book online here.

You can hear Little Mass at the RSNO concert: Oundjian and Benedetti on 17 March in Glasgow, 18 March in Edinburgh, and 19 March in Aberdeen.
