Pierrot-plus ensemble seeks scores for first season

August 12, 2016 in All Opportunities, Composers by mwhiteside

Columbia and St. Louis, Missouri-based new music ensemble Saint Lunaire is seeking works to program on our first concert season. We are looking to program a stylistically diverse selection of pieces written in the past two decades.

Though compensation is not fully guaranteed at this time, the possibility may open up in the future. We are, however, able to offer a minimum of two performances and a well-rehearsed recording.

We are seeking submissions for the following instrumentation (or subsets of at least five musicians):
– Flute (+ standard doubles)
– Clarinet (+ standard doubles)
– Violin
– Cello
– Piano
– Percussion (1 player)
– Soprano Voice
– Baritone Voice

There are no restrictions regarding age or nationality, but we are especially interested in programming composers in the early stages of their careers.

To submit a score for consideration, please send a PDF of the score, an audio file (MIDI realizations are accepted), performance history of the piece, and short bio to saint.lunaire.ensemble@gmail.com

We look forward to hearing your music!
