To provide administrative assistance across the company to support the delivery of Red Note’s strategic objectives as defined in the Business Plan. The job is primarily based in the company’s offices in the Summerhall arts complex in Edinburgh, but might involve some travel to events.

Job Description:

This is a broad role that will provide administrative support across all areas of the organisation. Key areas of responsibility will include general office management and project administration.

Role and responsibilities

  • Support- day-to-day administration within the office (organising meetings, filing etc.)
  • Assist with office management (maintaining office supplies, storage and storage systems)
  • Assist with the get-in/get-out of events, including hospitality, equipment or information

    materials as required

  • Support of project administration (booking travel and accommodation, keeping travel and

    rehearsal schedules, ordering, scanning and storing printed music, liaising between

    company/artists/venues)

  • Support of financial administration (invoicing and processing incoming invoices)
  • Assist maintaining planning and address data (data collection and input)
  • Assist with collecting statistics (audiences, venues, carbon efficiency and etc.)
  • Provide general marketing support, including social media assistance
  • Any other duties which may arise commensurate with the role

    Person Specification

    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate through written application and interview the following essential qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Highly organised with an ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
  • Attention to detail and consistent accuracy
  • Ability to manage a varied workload effectively across several projects simultaneously
  • Computer literate with working experience of Microsoft Office software

  • Full clean driving licence
  • At least 1 years’ experience working in a busy office environment
  • Experience of working in an artistic production setting

    The above requirements of the job are intended as an outline. There may be other tasks relating to the efficient and effective operation of the company. In these instances, the post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible and helpful approach.

    The post has a requirement of approximately 17.5 hours a week. The post holder must be flexible to respond to needs at busy times and be prepared to work out-of-office hours on a flexi /toil arrangement.
