Sound of Wander – International Composition Masterclass and Seminar with FRANCK BEDROSSIAN

July 28, 2015 in All Opportunities, Composers, residencey and summerschool by newmusicscotland

16th – 18th December 2015 // Milan

This 3-day masterclass is open to students, instrumentalists, composers and musicologists of every age and nationality.
Besides 8 individual composition lessons with Franck Bedrossian, open to all the participants, it includes a reading session with Promenade Sauvage duo, focused on selected pieces or sketches written by the participants, a meeting/interview between Franck Bedrossian and the composer and musicologist Michelle Agnes Magalhães and two evening concerts with Promenade Sauvage duo and MDI Ensemble.

“Sound of Wander” is a project by the Association for Contemporary Music Study and Promotion (ASPMC) of Milan. Our goal is to create opportunities to deepen and enrich younger composers’ experience (masterclass and reading session), give space to open dialogues (A chat with…) and introduce new authors and compositions in Italy (concerts).
