The Old Vic is a landmark theatre in London. It has been the home of great productions for nearly 200 years and continues to attract the very best creative talent as it continues to grow under the artistic directorship of Matthew Warchus.

The Old Vic 12 is an extraordinary opportunity for 12 developing artists looking to make the next step in their careers. The scheme will offer them opportunities to expand networks, receive first class mentoring and benefit from a prestigious association with The Old Vic through an attachment to this iconic building.

The Old Vic 12 will consist of 3 Directors, 3 Producers, 3 Playwrights, 1 Designer, 1 Movement Director and 1 Composer. As with each role at The Old Vic, we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds. The succesful Movement Composer will have worked on several fringe shows and be looking at working on a larger scale.

From October 2016 till August 2017, the composer will connect with The Old Vic, as part of Old Vic 12, and work creatively on the presentations.
