Quick overview of my profile

  • An accomplished sound designer combining extensive industry expertise with an MSc in Sound Design at Napier University (2020).
  • Awarded Creative Scotland Lottery funding in December 2020 to pursue development of a body of work featuring Ambisonic environmental recordings and compositions called Surrounded by Midlothian throughout 2021.
  • Released Digital download of environmental based compositions called Sonables in February 2021and a series of accompanying videos
  • Supervising sound editor/producer/composer on full length documentary film In The Light with film maker/ director Susan Kemp. (https://inthelightfilm.com/) Completed January 2020
  • A successful composer and music producer with own compositions recorded and performed by live music groups as well as compositions recorded and used in film and media. Have produced CDs of music for other artists as a producer/engineer performing directing, co-writing, recording, and mixing duties.
  • Professional double and electric bassist freelancing throughout the UK jazz, experimental and folk music scenes with a BMus from McGill University, Montreal.
  • Has a wide area of professional experience and skills to draw from with a reputation for delivering complex audio projects within demanding time and cost constraints whilst ensuring excellent communication with clients.
