Contemporary Music for All (CoMA) Festival Day
- 15 Mar 2026, 1:30 p.m., King's Pavilion, University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK, Find out more and register
Description
Join sound for a FREE rehearsal of accessible and fun contemporary pieces, alongside musicians from Any Enemy, Aberdeen’s new music ensemble. We are excited to welcome instrumentalists (and non-instrumentalists!) of all ages.
Together we will be playing two pieces: In C by Terry Riley, and Eko Ilu by Irobosa Osagie, both of which will be shared at the end of the session.
In C by Terry Riley is suitable for instrumentalists on any instrument, playing at around a Grade 2 minimum standard.
Eko Ilu by Irobosa Osagie is suitable for all instrumentalists and non-instrumentalists. We would welcome those who are interested, but do not play an instrument, to join us from 2:30pm for Eko Ilu.
