    Description

    Young composer Gillian Walker is the recipient of the 2019/20 Kimie Composition Prize and Live Music Now Scotland commissioned her to write new music for children with additional support needs

    Gillian chose to write music for children with additional support needs and took the idea of play as her inspiration.

    She named her series of nine short pieces, ‘The Music Box’, with each piece having a different theme.
