    NYCOS National Girls Choir celebrates music by fourteen women composers including two world premieres. How to Fall In Love With Yourself  by American composer Dale Trumbore is an inspiring new piece which encourages the singers to build self-esteem and confidence while Scottish composer Claire McCue’s Baloo, lammy, balylalow gives new life to a traditional Scottish text.

    Three years ago NYCOS helped fund and support the publication of a ground-breaking anthology of music written by women – Multitude of Voyces. Our concert includes seven pieces from this collection, many receiving their first Scottish performance.
