Lewis Coenen-Rowe

Creator, Performer (individual)
Biography

I am a composer, pianist and advocate for environmental sustainability in the arts. I am particularly interested in chamber opera and previous works in this area include Collision (performed by Spectra Ensemble at Grimeborn Festival), The Storm (performed by Helios Collective at ENO Lilian Baylis House) and Last Thursday (performed at Collisions festival). I also work in other vocal music and chamber music.

I am a pianist and have often played as part of performances of my own music. I also occasionally perform as a spoken-word vocalist.

I also have a 'day job' working for Creative Carbon Scotland on the arts and climate change
